ABOUT SAMARCHY.
Samuel Michael David Draper, born January 10th, 2006, notably known from his stage name "Samarchy" (Separately known as "Whyte Cloud" or "Otarion"), is an English musician, singer, record producer, songwriter and creative visionary. His stage name "Samarchy" came from a mix of his first name Sam, and how the misunderstood feeling of anarchy were fused together to put his individual feelings into perspective through his music and artistry.
The starting phases of his career in the early stage of 2020 were practiced and acted as great guidance and evolution to his abilities, the most notable aspect of Sam's work is how he is consistently able to reach advanced heights and refine his skills over relatively short but challenging periods of time, he shows to know no limits that can possibly hold him. His first three projects, SKY WALKING (2021), KENOPSIA (2021) and Something I Never Wrote On Paper (2023) are each greatly appreciated for their importance and history in Sam’s journey, but as of present date they are all but past testimonies to what he has learnt as a musician over the years, what he decides to implement into his work moving forward, only time will tell.
SAM'S EARLY LIFE
Samuel Michael David Draper was born on January 10th 2006 in Norwich, England. He was raised in Horsford, Norwich, a serene suburban village six miles north of Norwich where he stayed with his family. His life living in Horsford from ages one to eight was congenial and easy, He later moved to Taverham, Norwich to take education at both Taverham VC CE Junior School and Taverham High School which were stable areas for Sam to live in, it's where he first picked up his musical talents. Having troubles staying focused and gaining respect from his peers at school was effective on Sam's sentiments, he says he was "treated as the backbone of people's jokes" in his early education. "I kept being treated as the kid to go to relieve your anger on practically." Sam said on a Podcast interview in March 2021.
Sam enrolled in the Level 3 Vocal artist course at Access Creative College's Norwich campus from late 2022 up until 2024. Meeting people and gaining contacts to industry professionals, commonly through annoying people about himself and his music, helped largely in being able to have an array of people to talk about music with, show music to and gain further knowledge about music as a whole and how to grow as a musician.
CAREER
2018 - 2020: Influence, Learning & The start.
Draper started developing his musical talents since a young age, at around six years old he started up with Piano, Drum and Guitar lessons and subsequently went on to take further Vocal lessons but left lessons shortly after taking them and decided to teach himself instead.
In Late 2018 at the age of twelve, Sam put deep exertion into these musical aspects and put amplified effort towards learning further and at a better level than before.
Early in the year of 2020 Sam had the influenced decision to commence production and writing of music that he can put out for his own image, he wanted something that he could pursue both creatively and to speak his opinion on and had constructed a collection of scrapped songs and instrumentals before eventually putting out his independent single "ERROR101" a song mocking the influence of stereotyped fame and loyalty released on June 28, 2020. Following this was the release of "8:88" (August 7, 2020), "BARCODE CONTROL" (August 18, 2020) and "WHYTE SNAKE" (September 20, 2020).
Travelling to studio sessions throughout late-2020 with producers and friends to support and create his project and future work in both London and around Norwich had Sam experiencing the true passion he strives for and had him working over many hours on songs and beats, getting many sleepless nights led to Sam falling back on school work but slowly caught up in the midst of the Covid-19 Pandemic and having to study further for his GCSE exams, but that never halted the endless determination for making music and getting the "SKY WALKING" project to come out finalised in early 2021.

On July 23, 2021, Sam set tone on the summer of 2021 by producing and writing a 5 track EP titled "RAGE SUMMER" featuring some of his most flourishing vocals and instrumentals since the release of "SKY WALKING". Leading the EP is track 2 "MONEY TREES" being the most favoured track out of the project. The entirety of the project was recorded during the night and in late-evening studio sessions which reasons to the tired yet invigorated sound of each track throughout the project.
On January 10, 2021, Sam released his awaited Debut album "SKY WALKING" to the world, the 47 Minute, 16 track Project features work from artist Lo and production from Elijah Yates. It contains some of Sam's most earliest developments of his journey to find his sound, holding mellow, dark and flipped sounds from singles such as the leading track "GET OUT MY WAY (ft. Lo) , track 15 "BLACKBIRD" and track 11 "WHITEBIRD (ft. Elijah Yates).
In September of 2021 Sam performed his first live performance at Pirate Studios in Norwich.
On October 1, 2021, one of the more experimental projects in Samarchy's discography, "KENOPSIA" was put out all across the globe, featuring intensive work from the likes of Kanye west featuring on track 9 "TRY AND STOP ME NOW", Tyler, The Creator with writing credits on track 15 "102006", Pharrell Williams with writing credits on track 11 "AIRSAFE", Big Sean with writing credits on track 14 "TURNT FREESTYLE", TK Savage featuring on track 5 "TRACK AND TRACE" and SMMR featuring on track 4 "GOING UP". Track number 5 on the album, "TRACK AND TRACE (ft. TK Savage), is the leading single on the entirety of the album with an addictive hook from Sam and an organic Acoustic Guitar loop on the production of the track which makes the song so instantly lovable. In promotion, Draper would lead up to the album by teasing the meaning and story behind the project and describing the feeling of "Kenopsia" which is defined as "The forlorn atmosphere of a place that is usually bustling with people but is now abandoned". During the lead up to the release of the album, Sam posted a 3 part story called "The Kenopsis" primarily describing the addictive journey of a Utopian boy with Synesthesia wandering through plains of manipulative and abandoned woodlands, turning him away from every direction he took.
On June 24, 2021, Sam was featured on a single by American Rapper SMMR titled "INTENTIONS". After releasing his Album "KENOPSIA" he was then featured on the single "LIGHTS" by Rapper BLAXNE off of the 2021 album "OMEN" released on December 24, 2021.
Sam uses enticing and blasting vocal techniques to portray a senseless and emotional sound to the audience he enlists into his anarchist movement.
Sam has a growing public interest towards videography and theatre and wants to act in movies and direct music videos and different media outlets in the future of his career.
2022 - Present day: Tribulations and work ethic.
I spent most of this year putting further concentration into my actual abilities, I have focused on my production, delivery, vocal range and other skills that make my music better.

Really this year has been a large experiment and I released very scarce amounts of music.
March 2022 I released my single "ILLUMINARCHY", this was one of my first genuinely recognised tracks and for good reason, it was well produced, well mixed and the sound was addictive.

Coming straight after "KENOPSIA" this was a considerably large improvement and people were able to pick up on it.
I curated these custom Nike Blazer Hi-Top shoes that I call the Nike Blazer "Archys".

People got pissed at them because I posted photos of them which I just find so dumb, I appreciate anything I do, if I make a colour-way of a Nike shoe then i'm most likely gonna fuckin post it haha.

I think they're really cool, they're really comfy and I still wear them pretty much all the time.
They are sick.​
A lot has and can always happen in a very short amount of time, I guess that's one of the many interesting principles I live by, I treat every day with so much care because there is no way of you predicting what could happen to you in a matter of minutes.

I value myself and love myself, people are very quick to label me a narcissist but I feel if I was not to be as confident and admiring of myself, I could not be the Musician that I strive to be.

I feel like I am running out of things to mention on this "About" section of my website but I guess that all you need to know about me is I have no ability to give up, whatever it is that I am gonna want to end up seeking for my future, I will chase it and I will find success in whatever it is I truly feel passionate about.

Advice for the world, keep walking down the road you feel most comfortable on, pay no attention to outside sources trying to control you or tell you what you should be doing, only you know what's best for you and just know that I wish you the best of luck, you can do anything with enough determination, you just gotta believe in it.
